Groups

We like to pre-plan activities so all of you can get involved and to offer more to the people we serve. At this time groups need to be kept to a 15 person maximum and are scheduled. Please check the calendar for available weekends or activities you would like to participate in.

Please choose only a clothes distribution or clothes sorting / folding Saturday if your group wants to volunteer on the weekend from our web calendar.

Clothes distribution takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. If your group doesn't meet us at OLGC in the morning, we request that a representative of your group attend an orientation at OLGC that morning so the representative can meet your group downtown and inform your group as to what to expect and how best to help us in clothes distribution.

We can use your group to help on Wednesday or Thursday nights at the old church located at 1162 Penniman Plymouth, MI 48170 (Map) to fold and sort clothes from 7pm-9pm as well as on the 3rd Saturday of every month at this same place after the 7:45 prayer service in the day chapel at OLGC (Map). This is if you don't wish to make the trip downtown and still want to help.

After selecting a Saturday, send an email to volunteer@pbjoutreach.org to reserve your date. Please include contact name, your group's name and a phone number in case there are any questions.
